* Headway is a platform that connects mental health care providers with clients with insurance.  Whereas I am not a contracted provider with some of the insurances listed above, being credentialed with Headway means I can see people with these insurances at the IN-NETWORK rate.  This is a benefit for you, as you'll only pay the in-network copay, and it's a benefit to me, as I'll be able to offer services to a greater number of people without them incurring additional out-of-network expenses.   

If your insurance is not listed here, your policy may offer out-of-network benefits. 

Here are some things to ask your insurance company:

• How much is my out-of-network deductible (the amount you pay out of pocket before your insurance covers a portion of the cost)?
• What is my coinsurance (similar to a copay, but instead of a flat rate, it's the percentage you pay after the deductible has been met)?  

In such cases, I will submit the necessary paperwork on your behalf to help you obtain reimbursement from your insurance company. 

I realize that going out of network can be costly, so I'm flexible and reasonable when managing this.  We can spread the deductible across several months and even negotiate your out-of-pocket expense (see sliding scale below).

Also, if you've been been struggling to find someone in-network, you can contact your insurance company and ask them to grant you a single-case agreement, which will treat me as an in-network provider in this "single case only."

• I charge $250 for a 53-minute session.
• Copayments/coinsurance are due at the end of each session.
• I welcome payments in cash, Zelle, Paypal, FSA, and credit cards (2.5% fee).
• A sliding scale, which is based on financial hardship, is available when applicable.
